Definīcija:

Committee of Member States' representatives appointed for each main group of agricultural products, with power to approve certain regulations and directives under the Common Agricultural Policy (1). The Management Committee procedure has been applied for agricultural products since 1962. Before adopting implementing measures, the Commission first consults a Management Committee, which gives an opinion on them by qualified majority (Article 148(2) EC). If the Committee approves the measures, the Commission may put them into effect. Otherwise, the Commission may forthwith adopt measures and immediately notify the Council of them. The Council may then, within one month (variant a) or three months (variant b), take a different decision (2).
